Role Description: We are currently seeking to fill a full-time position for an experienced Field Marketing Manager, to continue to elevate the CoStar and LoopNet brands across Canadian markets, with in-person and virtual events, training webinars, sponsorships, conferences, and speaking engagements. The role will be responsible for event logistics, execution, internal and external marketing communication, planning with sales and analytics leadership, helping to increase client engagement, and marketing through events for prospect lead generation. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, you will collaborate with an in-house team of stakeholders from marketing, communications, and leaders throughout the organization. You will be working closely with stakeholders in Sales, Research, Product, Analytics and News, to drive field marketing strategies for lead generation and client retention.

Responsibilities:

Field Marketing

  • Own end-to-end project planning, management, and execution of internal and third party events, meetings, and tradeshows. This includes but is not limited to content and agenda development, venue selection, contract negotiation, booking talent, marketing and communications, data management, invitee list creation with sales and analytics, attendee registration management and communication, catering, staff coordination, on-site event logistics, name badges, budget management, KPI tracking, invoice processing, postmortem, and working with the sales analytics team to get prospect leads entered into Web Enterprise.

  • Strategy Development: Create and implement innovative field marketing strategies that align with company goals and target the enterprise customer segment for each opportunity.

  • Lead Generation: Develop targeted campaigns to generate quality leads and accelerate customer acquisition for each opportunity. Work with the sales analytics team to have all prospect attendees entered in CRM for lead follow up.

  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the sales and analytics teams to create compelling content that effectively communicates our value proposition. Create all pre- and post event communication (emails, landing page, social ads). This includes copywriting for all the assets and working with the production team.

  • Event Management: Plan, execute, and lead trade shows, thought leadership and training webinars, and other customer and prospect events.

  • Sales Guidance: Meet with sales to identify opportunities, communicate their involvement, and set sales expectations for each event.

  • Partner Relationships: Foster and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and other key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to inform marketing strategies.

  • Performance Metrics: Working alongside other internal stakeholders, establish, track, and report key performance metrics to evaluate the success of field marketing initiatives.

  • Management of sponsorship deliverables in all Canadian Markets for SIOR, NAIOP, Informa and other industry association / organization sponsorships CoStar commits too.

  • Assess New Opportunities: With sales and marketing stakeholders, source new sponsorship, trade show and conference opportunities that align with growth strategies where we can display activations for sales demos and elevate our brand with thought leadership content through speaking engagements.

Other Marketing Initiatives

  • Development of monthly client and prospect newsletters.

  • Development of economic and market outlook campaigns to be sent after each webinar.

  • Assist the Senior Director, Marketing, with other marketing initiatives for field, product, and general marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing and/or communications from an accredited, University.

  • Must be a Canadian citizen, currently residing in Toronto.

  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.

  • 5+ years of field marketing experience.

  • 3+ years of B2B marketing experience.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with copywriting event invites, landing pages, social ads, and copy to be used in other marketing channels for promotion.

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Proven experience in delivering best in-class marketing events.

  • Bilingualism in French is an asset.

  • Highest proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, notably Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Flexibility and ability to push through indecision and ambiguity to deliver results.

  • Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force to move objects/ boxes.

  • Ability and willingness to work extended hours and varying work schedules as needed.

  • Ability to learn the CoStar product or a complex CRE software product quickly with basic understanding of data analytics.

  • Hands on, get it done marketer, who is detail oriented.

  • High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Permanent Canadian work authorization.

  • Able to travel across Canada and be able to enter the United States, both for business purposes.

  • Approximately 20% - 30% of time will be spent traveling on site for events.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

  • Sense of humor a plus.
