Position Overview:

We seek a distinguished and dynamic Executive Chef to helm our upscale Olliffe Butcher shop kitchen. This pivotal role ensures our stores are consistently stocked with premium, meticulously curated products while maintaining our superior customer service standards. The Executive Chef will oversee comprehensive kitchen operations, including procurement, preparation, packaging, and logistics. Additionally, this position demands extensive collaboration with retail staff and direct engagement with customers to deliver exceptional service, training, and maintaining exquisite retail displays. This role is integral to upholding our high-end brand reputation and operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

-Oversee the butcher shop kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality production.

-Manage ordering, preparation, packaging, labeling, and logistics to maintain well-stocked stores.

-Lead, train, and manage kitchen and retail staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

-Develop and maintain high standards of product display and customer service.

-Create and implement new recipes, improve processes, and ensure ongoing staff training.

-Manage budgets, P&L, and inventory control to optimize operations and minimize waste.

-Ensure compliance with food handling, health, and safety policies.

Requirements:

-Extensive culinary background with strong expertise in beef, pork, and chicken.

-Established experience in retail butchery and food merchandising.

-Proven track record in managing and training staff.

-Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain high standards of product display.

-Experience in labeling, packaging, and logistics within a retail environment.

-Ability to manage budgets and understand P&L.

-Creative and innovative approach to developing new products and improving processes.

-Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
