Mosaic is looking for an Event Manager, B2B to join our team.
As an Event Manager, you will play both a lead and support role in the planning, production and execution phases of regional and national events within the portfolio. You will work alongside a team comprised of Event Directors and Producers. You’ll also have an opportunity to manage Event Coordinators to collectively deliver on event objectives and project deliverables. You will receive in-depth and comprehensive training, providing you with the necessary skills to successfully contribute to projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. You will gain experience working directly with clients as you take ownership of project elements. RESPONSIBILITIES
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Coordinate logistical elements of strategic corporate events, conferences, business meetings, and more
Manage relationships with vendors including vendor sourcing through to production
Work in collaboration with team members to contribute to overall event experience design
Influence client relationships; contribute to client face-to-face and virtual meetings and execute projects that meet client business objectives
Support with internal processes such as purchase orders creation, payment tracking, and hiring candidates for events
Support and build positive relationships with clients, internal stakeholders an teams, partner agencies, and our external supplier and industry partners.
Create documents to manage and organize project elements and deliverables
Conduct research on venues and manage relationships with production vendors
Work within a project budget to achieve production objectives
Assist with on-site set up and tear down of events
Contribute to the development of reports post-show
Manage and coach Event Coordinator to complete project deliverables

Experience, skills and job requirements:
3-5 years of Event Planning experience; Event planning specific to commercial audiences is an asset
Experience in producing large scale experiences and events
Ability to manage multiple projects with demonstrated ability to think and plan ahead
Excellent client service and customer service experience
Highly motivated and proactive, anticipating the next steps and moving them forward without intervention
Highly organized, detail orientated, able to manage workflow in an efficient and effective manner
Strong team building and leadership skills
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office; PowerPoint and Excel in particular
Strong time management skills. Ability to manage time effectively is a must
