Amazon Enterprise Account Executive, Financial Services in Toronto, Ontario

Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing strategic Fortune 1000 Financial Services accounts ? Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider for leading Canadian banks?

As a Financial Services Enterprise Account Executive you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the business and IT CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. She/he should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets.

Key job responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work backwards from your customers' business outcomes to identify opportunities to deliver value with AWS

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined Financial Services territory.

  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.

  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around cloud-led transformation and AWS services

  • Accelerate customer cloud adoption

  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline

  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption

  • Manage contract negotiations

  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts

  • Ensure customer obsession

  • Expect moderate travel

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience

  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience

  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans
