Business Development Manager

Who we're looking for:

The role of Manager Business Development and Strategy with the Sportsnet sales team will help develop net new opportunities that will be focused on driving net new revenue. The Manager of Business Development will work with internal connections that will help influence what development builds to help drive new revenue. These connections with Insights, production (TV and Digital) and content will help bring all parts of the business together to help build the strongest opportunities for the sales teams. The focus of this role will be to ensure that opportunities that are put in market are done at minimum a quarter ahead of air date. The Manager Business Development and Strategy will also lead the refinement of our go to market strategies for the NHL, MLB, NBA and SN owned and operated properties. The continuous changes to the got to market strategies as well as net new opportunities and production means that the Business Development manager will be a lead in educating the sales team on all properties and platforms.

What you'll do:

  • Communicate effectively with clients and teams in various mediums and situations.

  • Excel proficient with ability to price linear TV and digital assets.

  • Lead working sessions with extended team.

  • Build strong relationships with business leads and project team members.

  • Work collaboratively and effectively across the organization.

  • Facilitate effective interaction across business units and functional lines of business.

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days in office work best for you!
