Overview

An Account Supervisor is responsible for executing the fundamentals of advertising with excellence – from providing thought leadership in strategic planning, to building during creative development, to ensuring the creative output achieves clients’ and the agency’s objectives. They are delivering the day-to-day work with excellence, while building trust with all internal departments, clients and partner agencies.

They should provide day-to-day leadership and are responsible for maximizing the client’s budget by looking for timely, strategic solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partners to create innovative, business solutions based on expert knowledge of the client’s business, industry, market trends and encourages new ideas from the team

• Act as one of the key client contacts, overseeing all aspects of key projects of brand idea from initial concept through final measurement

• Communicates with client regularly to set project expectations, own deliverables and obtain updates on the client’s business

• Contributing member in meetings, building on ideas and making sure feedback has been addressed

• Manages ways to bring ideas to life across departments, gains support and ownership of all key stakeholders to execute project plans and productions on time and budget

• Troubleshoots issues with cross-functional account team daily

• Makes suggestions for broadening the range of strategies and tactics employed on a given project or brand

• Ensures creative product is developed according to deliverables

• Manages project resourcing requirements and process including timeline and resourcing allocation per project

• Maintains quality assurance and develops ideas for continuous improvement

• Identifies opportunities to incorporate sister agencies and ensures strategic alignment so that the best ideas get to market

• Applies understanding of financial processes to keep track and organize all internal and client finances with ongoing communication of status

• Executing all conference reports, timelines, legal reviews, talent management, budget and trafficking

• Be the gate keeper of all client facing materials, making sure they are error free

• Understands what makes a good brief/insight and how to bring it through the work, assisting planners in writing briefs

• Has good judgment about what makes great creative and how to sell it, understanding the balance between best creative and client needs

• Understands the basics of production, how to troubleshoot, and how to bring ideas to life on time and on budget

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years of experience

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

• Hybrid working model

• Superb written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to presents ideas with clarity and persuasive impact

• A clear, persuasive communicator with the ability to motivate, inform, involve & guide teams to achieve shared objectives

• Enthusiastic collaborator who enjoys working with other people and has the drive to make things happen in partnership with others; Able to reconciles a variety of perspectives and brings them to collective agreement and action

• Thinks through problems by quickly narrowing in on core issues and identifying innovative and effective solutions

• Ability to manage with optimism and calm in the context of a complex, fluid business

• A team player who is willing and able to take on all tasks no matter the size (small or large)
