Moneris Vice President, Product - Large and Key Accounts (LAKA) in Toronto, Canada

Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

As the Vice President, Large and Key Accounts (LAKA), you will be responsible for setting Moneris' Large and Key Accounts (LAKA) product strategy and leading a team of product managers to deliver customized, market-leading solutions to meet LAKA segment P&L.

Note: Moneris uses the term LAKA to refer to large accounts, which are also commonly known as National or Enterprise accounts, among other terms. These accounts typically include large national or multi-national retailers such as gas and convenience stores, grocery chains, and other similar businesses.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship : You will report to the Chief Product Officer.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Lead a team of product professionals to be accountable and deliver on the LAKA product strategy.

  • Foster a culture of growth mindset and accountability, develop leaders and future talent pipeline for Moneris.

  • Develop and implement the LAKA product strategy to align with Moneris' overall business and financial goals.

  • Manage the execution of the LAKA product roadmap, ensuring successful and timely product roadmap delivery and market adoption, including product marketing and campaign management.

  • Oversee the mandates of LAKA Agile teams and delivery on business outcomes, including allocation of product resources to LAKA initiatives, and collaborates with Tech peers on Agile priorities.

  • Manage the execution of the Client Consulting, Product Consulting, and Certification team, ensuring successful development of specialized solutions and engagement with customers to support throughout the produce life cycle and compliance with the integration requirements.

  • Responsible for P&L of the product portfolio, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are allocated effectively. This includes the Payment Network Services business Unit.

  • Prioritize and manage large scale customization and integration needs for key accounts, including owning the overall roadmap for when and how these are completed, and working with Sales teams on messaging to LAKAs.

  • Collaborate with Sales leaders to prioritize integrations / feature requests while managing profitability.

  • Establish and enforce rules-based processes for responding to pricing requests.

  • Monitor and analyze LAKA product performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions, and ensure that these decisions are incorporated into the product strategy for the segment.

  • Interface and work with cross-functional leaders in Tech, Sales & Marketing, Operations, and Strategy.

  • Foster a culture of customer-centricity within the product team, ensuring that user experience and satisfaction are at the forefront of product development.

  • Represent the LAKA Product function at the executive level through providing comprehensive product performance reports and regular updates to the CPO, CEO, Board and ELT.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience leading product teams, ideally with experience in the payments industry or payments-adjacent technology, commerce technology, or FinTech.

  • Proven track record of successfully developing and delivering on innovative product strategies and leading product organizations in high-growth environments.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing LAKA product strategies.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven decisions.

  • Experience with agile development processes and product management tools.

  • Strong business acumen and experience successfully managing P&L, including LAKA pricing strategy.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and to work effectively with leaders in Sales & Marketing and Technology to execute on product strategy.
