We offer competitive hourly rates in a fun, supportive atmosphere.   Responsibilities:  * Monday-Friday part-time work hours: 8:30 am - 1:30 pm * Be the face of Sylvan - Enthusiastic, welcoming demeanor and professional appearance & customer service skills. * Use our center operations software to edit student schedules, keep detailed notes regarding students and families, and assist Leadership Team and Directors with center-specific tasks * Create a welcoming and professional front desk environment for our local Prometric testing center and Sylvan students, families, and community. * Answer phones and routing phones to appropriate team members * Scan documents and filing * Assist Prometric testing center to check in candidates, following Prometric guidelines * Schedule and verify information in Sylvan programs  * Mark attendance daily for each of our franchise-owned Sylvan centers & accurately document teacher hours worked for payroll * Work with Leadership Team on marketing initiatives/communications for all franchise-owned Sylvan centers * Attend Marketing ZOOM/calls with Leadership Team monthly * Attend Sylvan corporation ZOOM trainings/informational sessions as directed by Leadership * Maintain websites for all franchise-owned Sylvan centers * Create, post, and manage social media platforms for all franchise-owned Sylvan centers * Create and distribute center specific fliers and collateral * Create and distribute monthly student activity calendars and collateral * Maintain Sylvan and Prometric supplies monthly in partnership with local Center Director and Prometric Director * Support Sylvan and Prometric standards and procedures for students, candidates, and staff * Other assigned tasks from Leadership Team   Knowledge Required: * Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred (Marketing, Communications, Business, etc) * 3+ years of customer service * 1+ years of marketing experience * Experience using Microsoft Office Suite * Email/Text Marketing platforms such as Constant Contact, EZ Texting, Peach Jar etc * Experience with Google Suite * Experience with maintaining Social Media platforms such as Facebook, X, & Instagram   Skills & Abilities Required: * Strong word processing, data entry, and other administrative skills * A team player and great work ethic * Able to prioritize, multi-task, work efficiently, and produce high quality & accurate work in a fast-paced environment * Communicate effectively in writing * Ability to maintain student and family confidentiality * Strong verbal skills; ability to communicate effectively and positively * Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being required and performed.  They are not intended to be a complete list of all job requirements, responsibilities, skills, knowledge, or abilities.
