ManpowerGroup Application Developer III - KDOR in Topeka, Kansas

Our client, is seeking a Application Developer (.Net) to join their team.

Contract to Hire (6 months)

Location: REMOTE (Looking for candidates local to Kansas)

Hiring Manager Notes (1/24/25)

The team works with .NET, C#, JS, and VB.NET and are heading towards latest versions of .NET.

Ideally prefer developers with CS Degree.

Project: eComm team, supporting existing facing website; supports all eFile transfers; feeds accounting systems; lots of 1 off tax types, as well.

Duties:

  1. Specialized technical work functioning in applications programming and systems analysis.

  2. Work involves the formulation of applications systems' scope and objectives to meet user requirements and needs based upon advanced knowledge of, and experience with, data processing and systems analysis techniques.

  3. Work includes devising or modifying procedures to solve complex problems using data processing technology, while staying within the capacity and limitations of the equipment, operating time and form of desired results.

  4. Reviews the preparation of detailed specifications from which programs will be written.

  5. Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs.

  6. Work may also include functioning as technical consultant in one or more highly specialized areas of applications programming and analysis.

Preferred Skills and Education: Visual Studio, .Net, Java, VB.NET, Java Script, SQL, SQL Server DB, GitHub Computer Science Degree
