Job Title: Diesel Technician

Job Description

National distribution company is in search of a diesel technician to join their team of fleet mechanics. This employee will be responsible or performing preventative maintenance, repair, and inspections on company vehicles including gasoline and diesel trucks, trailers, and material handling equipment. All repairs must be made to follow DOT and government agency standards to ensure the safety and reliability of the fleet.

Employees will be working a Monday through Friday schedule. Benefits will be available upon hire including medical, dental, vision, and 401k. Paid holidays and PTO also available.

Skill Recommendations

• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform repairs on company fleet vehicles

• Previous experience performing preventative maintenance on company fleet vehicles

• Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude

• Ability to document any and all repairs

• NYS inspection license preferred but not mandatory

• CDL A license preferred but not mandatory

Additional Information:

Employees will be working in a new shop environment with vehicle lifts. Leadership opportunities available for employees. Flexible schedule available if needed.
