Job Overview:
Performs diversified secretarial duties in non-invasive cardiology, cardiac catheterization lab, and cardiac rehabilitation.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Graduate or equivalent
Computer Literate - Word, Excel, Windows
Familiar with Medical Terminology
Excellent Communication Skills
Preferred:
- CPAR
Certifications and Licenses Required:
Scheduling Requirements:
Per Diem
Shift working days and hours vary
No weekends or Holidays
Essential Functions:
Duties include but are not limited to: filing, scheduling, insurance verification, document storage and retrieval, reception, typing, distribution of mail, routine record keeping, maintain supplies and equipment, maintaining monthly statistics
Interacts with patients and families to help facilitate high quality patient care
Communicates and collaborates with hospital staff, physicians, and medical offices to develop and maintain procedural schedules
