Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

• Seeking an experienced industrial maintenance electrician

• Position involves 70% electrical, 30% mechanical work, and some building maintenance

• Conduct mechanical repairs on machinery including coating rooms, ovens, incinerators, slitter lines, upenders, conveyor lines, and shrink wrap machines

• Perform mechanical repairs on pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, motors, bearings, bushings, cylinders, valves, and conveyors

• Troubleshoot electrical issues up to 480v, including relays, control panels, motors, and faults

• Responsible for basic machining using Bridgeports Mills and Lathes

• Conduct building maintenance tasks such as painting and plumbing

• Perform MIG and Stick welding on mild/cold rolled steel

• Install machinery and equipment

• Read and interpret blueprints

Work Environment

• Coating steel coils for the food industry

• Two openings available

• Current working hours: 3 AM to 3 PM or 3 PM to 3 AM

• Expect to work the next 4 to 5 weekends due to preparation for 2025

• Average workweek: 40-72 hours

• Pay: $32.47 per hour, with an additional $0.40 for off-shift work

• Union plant (United Steel Workers)
