Job Title: CNC Operator - Up to $31/hr!

Job Description

The CNC Operator will be responsible for production-based machining, operating horizontal mills and VTL CNC lathes, performing low volume repeat batch work, and ensuring the quality of small to mid-range parts with tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Operate horizontal mills and VTL CNC lathes.

• Perform low volume repeat batch work with 20-50 pieces being machined at a time.

• Work with small to mid-range parts and tight tolerances.

• Make minor edits in the programs.

• Change out inserts and tooling.

• Read blueprints.

• Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges for quality checks on parts.

• Machine various materials including cast grey ductile iron, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, bronze, brass, copper, super alloys, and tool steels.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or GED.

• 2-3 years of CNC lathe or horizontal mill experience.

• Experience with tight tolerances.

• Experience with calipers, gauges, or micrometers.

• Experience performing minor edits to programs.

• Experience changing out inserts and tooling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience performing own set-ups.

• Experience performing change overs.

Why Work Here?

Employees are offered a $3 shift differential and have the option to work 4 ten-hour shifts or 12-hour shifts for flexibility. Employees will also receive paid ten hours if their shift falls on a holiday.

Work Environment

This is a 3rd shift position from 7:30pm-6:00am Sunday through Friday, with training on first shift for a month (7:00am-3:30pm) before transitioning to 3rd shift. The 3rd shift crew will consist of 1 supervisor and 4 other operators.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Perrysburg, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $58240.00/yr.

Once direct the company has great benefits: $15 for single plan, $32 for family of two and $45 for a family. They also give a Christmas bonus each year.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Toledo,OH.
