Description:

• Candidates will perform their own set ups and operating on the machines

• Will program using mastercam

• In this role they will be machining large blocks, weldments and plate work

• Machine has 4 axis; 1 is a spindle

• Reading of blueprints or prints to machine parts

• Drilling and tapping holes

• Change tooling

• Perform quality checks on parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges and visual inspection

• Basic computer use to track progress of parts

• 3-D machining

• Will set up and operate own machine

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have 5+yrs of experience

• Must have Mastercam Programming

• Must Have experience setting up and operating machines.

• Must be able to perform changeovers on machines

• Must know to change out tooling, adjust speeds and feeds, and make adjustments
