This immediate opening is available as a direct-hire or contract position. Candidates must be willing to travel weekly to the client site in the Anaheim, CA area.
Qualifications
- Due to the requirement of this U.S. Federal Government contractor, candidates must be U.S. citizens for this specific opening.
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Direct-hire applicants must be willing to relocate to Toledo, OH or surrounding area.
- Temporary and contract positions do not require relocation to Toledo, OH.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.
- Must be proficient with MS Office.
- Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and take initiative.

Job Duties
- Monitor use of performance management tools for accurate data collection and provide updates to leadership.
- Lead continuous improvement projects (safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost).
- Perform work measurement on several of the key manufacturing constraints to better capture root causes of production losses.
- Collect field measurement data and creates two-dimensional facility drawings from supplied specifications with AutoCAD.
- Calculate storage and capacity requirements for supporting specified production levels.
- Implement best practices and develop standard work.
- Update work instructions or process instructions.
- Troubleshoot process / equipment issues with operators, maintenance, and/or process engineering.
- Conduct safety audits and assist in investigating any safety incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective action planning for quality concerns.
Engage daily with operators on the floor.
