AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise, able to address advanced concepts and feature designs. As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. SSAs craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges. The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Key job responsibilities

• データウェアハウス (DWH) のテクニカルエキスパートとして、Amazon Redshift やAWSパートナーのDWH製品を通じて、お客様が必要とするデータ分析プラットフォームを実現する

• 事業開発チームと協力し、最も優れたGTMコンセプト / ソリューション / イニシアチブの技術的要素を定義する

• AWS社内の世界中のテクニカルエキスパートコミュニティを構築し、サポートする。より幅広いSAメンバーを対象に、AWSソリューションをお客様のアーキテクチャに導入する方法を理解するためのトレーニング教材を開発する

• As a Data Warehouse (DW) technical expert, realize the data analysis platform our customers need through Amazon Redshift or DW products from AWS partners.

• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.

• Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.

• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc.

• Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.

• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.

The Japan WW Data Specialist SA team is composed of technical experts in database and analytics services working with customers in Japan. Our team helps customers build or migrate their data to the AWS cloud while providing a secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure for customers to innovate and unlock new potential.

Basic Qualifications

• 大規模システムの設計 / 実装 / コンサルティングなどの7年以上の経験

• 技術的な顧客対応の5年以上の経験

• データウェアハウス分野での5年以上の経験

• お客様と日本語でコミュニケーションできるネイティブレベルの会話および記述能力

• 社内の関係者と英語でコミュニケーションできる会話および記述能力

• 7+ years design / implementation / consulting experience of large-scale systems

• 5+ years of technical customer facing work

• 5+ years of Data Warehousing

• Ability to communicate with customers in Japanese at a native level, both verbally and in writing

• Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders in English, both verbally and in writing

Preferred Qualifications

• History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises

• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud

• Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries

• AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise

• Computer Science /relevant degree and/or experience
