Amazon Pay is Commerce ID and Payment Service Provider leveraging Amazon account information (shipping address and payment method) to shop securely and conveniently everywhere beyond Amazon.co.jp. In Japan, Amazon Pay launched in May 2015 and has now been introduced at over 100,000 sites. We are aiming for a future where Amazon Pay can be used not only for payments but also in our customers' daily lives. We are looking for a person who is interested in business planning based on new ideas and project management based on product strategy

Amazon Pay team is seeking an experienced Sr. Program Manager for Amazon Pay in Japan. This role is responsible for business risk analysis, strategic planning and program management with involving external/internal stakeholders.

This position will collaborate with global stakeholders such as legal, compliance and engineering teams to accelerate business growth.

Female Program Managers are also active in this position. You can pursue a flexible work style with your own responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Business Level Japanese and English communication skill in verbal, reading and writing which enable to make good relationship and effective communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical orientation; comfort using databases and analytical tools and making data-based decisions

  • 7+ years of product/program management or technology experience
