The Amazon Content and App Partner Engagement (CAPE) team within the Amazon Appstore drives innovation for how our customers view and engage with 3rd party content across Amazon devices and mobile phones. We set high goals and are looking for people who can help us reach and exceed them, whilst "having fun".

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to help drive awareness and adoption of our 3rd party apps and developers. You will be an advocate for our app developers and our customers and create friction-less experiences for them. Our developers create engaging experiences for customers on Amazon Fire TV, Fire tablets, Website, and Android phones. Our mission is to ensure we are providing engaging and user-friendly content to our customers whilst also driving increased adoption.

You will own the strategy and planning of executions (offers) as well as serve as quality assurance across key marketing channel support initiatives and campaign launches. Daily activities will include in-house media planning, Social medida, Search, Paid Media, E-mail, as well as co-op marketing with developers. As a key member of the JP marketing team, the ability to be able to interpret data, analyze, and create insights is vital. Success in this role requires strong campaign planning/management skills, high attention to detail, being results-oriented, and most importantly being “customer-centric” in your approach.

You will have a strong understanding of the marketing funnel and possess great project management and influencing skills to work with multiple teams to achieve success. You will partner closely with other marketing team members, product managers, solution architects, business intelligence, finance, and business development teams to achieve business goals.

You will have deep experience and passion in strategy planning and obsess over constantly improving customer experiences by leveraging quantitative and qualitative inputs. Most importantly, you will "have fun" doing it and thus create a fun experience to our customers!

Key job responsibilities

• Own overall content / app launch calendar for internal and external marketing initiatives.

• Plan / Execute creative marketing programs and campaigns across various channels, including in-house, paid, social, search, and e-mails.

• Own performance measurement of key metrics to provide internal stakeholders with recommendations to increase engagement and acquisition.

• Provide performance recaps on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis with key insights and provide recommendations for key marketing channel performance enhancements.

• Own the end to end communication channel strategy

• Partner with internal teams to implement engaging content and proposal improvements to the developer to enhance customer experience.

• Drive customer satisfaction by working with the customer research team and execute studies to provide an actionable feedback for content and campaigns.

• Research the competitive landscape and identify gaps and needs for optimizations across marketing channels

• Own relationship with stakeholder teams to help identify marketing needs and lead end to end support for managed marketing channels.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
