Description

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Marketing Manager to lead the business growth of a new healthcare category for Amazon.co.jp. Healthcare is a strategic focus area for Amazon globally. By innovating the customer experience, Amazon Japan leads the online over-the-counter (OTC) medicine business, offering greater selection and convenience. Amazon Japan has also launched a new service for online prescription medicine business in partnership with pharmacies, providing further convenience and accessibility to customers.

As the Senior Program Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with Product Management, Business Development, Sales, Customer Service, and Legal to drive the expansion of this new healthcare initiative, from initial experimentation to scaling up. In this customer-centric role, you will leverage data to develop a Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy that addresses industry trends, regulations, and customer insights.

Through experiments and campaigns, you can directly improve the customer experience. You will track metrics, gather feedback, identify issues, and take actions to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Key job responsibilities

  • Own the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and initiatives from experiment to scale up

  • Design and execute experiments; determine whether to repeat or scale up initiatives based on outcomes

  • Craft compelling messages and stories to shape perception and engage customers

  • Achieve customer acquisition and activation targets within budget

  • Apply insights to redefine marketing strategy, identify opportunities, and refine GTM planning

  • Reflect learnings into future products to better serve customers

  • Collaborate with Amazon’s international teams

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 4+ years in marketing management

  • Led cross-functional projects from inception to completion

  • Dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and action-oriented

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills; business level Japanese and English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree

  • 6+ years in marketing or product/program management

  • Drove measurable business impacts (revenue, product adoption, sales leads, etc.)

  • Influenced long-term customer experience positively

  • Communicated effectively across diverse internal and external stakeholders
