Amazon Mktg Specialist: Events Mktg (one year contract), Event and Deals team- Japan in Tokyo, Japan

Description

JP Events and Deal mission is to delight customers by creating shopping Events with seasonal, socio-cultural and personal relevance, positioning Amazon as the best place for customers to shop and for selling partners to sell. We aim to be more efficient while delivering these. JP marketing team is looking for a talented Marketing Program Manager to drive strategic programs and mechanisms to improve profitability of Deal Events.

Key job responsibilities

• Own and support execution of strategic programs to reduce Cost to Serve.

• Collaborate with a team of diverse stakeholders (Operations, Delivery Experience, Retail) to develop experimentation roadmap and comprehensive list of key input metrics for Cost to serve

• Analyze performance data, customer metrics, and downstream financial impacts to inform cost to serve strategy.

• Ensuring alignment and best practice sharing across the various JP Product Families and Business teams.

• Identify areas of risk to the project scope or timeline and escalate to program leadership in a timely manner.

This is one year contract role*

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Tokyo, 13, JPN

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs

  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
