Hyatt Director of Sales & Marketing -Leadership Committee in TOKYO, Japan

Description:

Responsible for the overall management of the sales and marketing team (some of the tasks you will be entrusted with are listed below).

Marketing & Sales

  • Achieve revenue targets for rooms and banquet and wedding departments.

  • Work closely with the Revenue Management team to maximize room revenue.

  • Develop and implement short and long term marketing plans and programs to ensure profitable growth and expansion of company products and services.

  • Recommend basic structural and organizational changes to the marketing group to ensure effective achievement of assigned goals and respond promptly to marketing issues and opportunities.Administrative Departments

  • Develop and maintain a detailed department operations manual that reflects policies and procedures, business processes, and performance standards within the department. Review annually to ensure that changes are accurately reflected.

  • Responsible for the development of the annual sales and marketing business plan and ensures that departmental goals fully address the hotel's business objectives and employee needs.

Payroll and Productivity Management

  • Directs subordinates to ensure that productivity meets standards in accordance with the Hyatt Design Standards and Criteria and the Hyatt International Sales and Marketing Operations Manual.

  • Hire, select, and train sales and marketing associates to perform their duties in accordance with the operational, financial, and administrative philosophies.

Qualifications:

This will be the management of sales and marketing in Grand Hyatt Tokyo for weddings, banquets, and accommodations.

Sales and marketing experience in a luxury hotel setting is welcome.
