Skill & Responsibility

Strategy development, initiatives planning, creative brief development, and assets creation for brand communication, product communication, and brand experience.

  1. Brand Strategy
  • Deeply understand the global American Express brand strategy

  • Be a connective tissue between Central and Local business unit

  1. Creative Development
  • Develop creative brief, lead development process and production of ATL, BTL, traditional, digital and social creatives in line with global American Express creative strategy.

  • Performance KPI setting, tracking and reporting

  • Provide guidance, consultation for the marketing communications of other LOB at Execution Level

  1. Brand Management
  • Act as a conduit of the brand. Ensure branding consistency and coherency across touch points. Act in branding approval committee (MAC), I&D and compliance.

  • Branding guide governance, consultation for application, constructive critique, interpretation training for the enterprise level consistency and quality

  • Develop impactful Local creative assets and guideline, manage inventory.

  1. Consumer Insights
  • Distill data and information into the sharp consumer insights

  • Transform consumer insight into creative development process

  • Lead Consumer Research related to Creative development (e.g. Creative qual/quant)

  1. Media Planning Consultation
  • Consult Media Mgr on media selection to consistent w/ aligned IMC structure

  • Understand media performance and take actions if necessary for creative

  1. Marketing Operations
  • Budget management

  • Third party lifecycle management

  • Agency management

  • Management of multiple partners/agencies

  • Professional network/access to the external creative service providers and partners

Minimum Qualification

  • Strong communication skill

  • Windows office (PPT/Excel/Word/OneDrive/Outlook)

  • Japanese (native level) and English (business level)
