Brand & Communications Manager

Your role:

External Communications & Branding

Develop and execute effective communication strategies:

  • Collaborate closely with business and marketing teams to create communication plans for external and internal events, campaigns, and relevant local/global initiatives.

  • Create and maintain communications and brand compelling content and assets, ensuring alignment with brand and editorial guidelines and standards.

  • Cultivate positive relationships with media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders

  • Proactively manage Philips’ reputation through strategic media relations, thought leadership, paid and organic social activation and other proactive communications and brand initiatives.

  • Monitor and analyze relevant metrics and data to assess the impact of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for optimization.

Strategic communications skills:

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver accurate information quickly

  • Experience in developing and conducting crisis communications

Internal Communications

  • Drive proactive employee communications and engagement.

  • Plan and manage internal communications to multiple stakeholders (including emails and internal social channels), and manage key internal and external communication channels.

  • Assist in conveying strategies or messages from Philips Japan’s leadership team:

  • Collaborate with the Communications & Brand leader and other team members, as well as other stakeholders, to successfully execute company-wide town hall meetings (held every 2-3 months) and the annual enterprise kick-off.

You're the right fit if:

  • 5+ years of experience in communications or a related field

  • Experience in managing communications processes across a matrixed organization.

  • Strong project management and organization skills

  • Strong writing/editing skills and a demonstrated ability to develop influential materials for external audiences (press releases, newsletters, blogs, social media, etc.) and deliver high-quality work under pressure

  • Proven ability to lead and manage media events, including press conferences, roundtables, and coffee corners.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within and outside the team.

  • Proficient command of English (Native level of Japanese is required)

  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Experience in the healthcare field is a plus.

【就業時間】9:00-17:30

【休憩時間】原則として12:00-13:00

【休日】毎週土(所定休日)/日曜日(法定休日)、国民の祝日、年末年始(12月29日-1月4日)

【休暇】 有給休暇 (初年度最大20日間(初年度は入社月で変動)、Care Leave(年間10日間付与)、Sick Leave(年間30日間付与)ほか

【給与】能力/ご経験を考慮して優遇します

【手当】通勤手当の支給あり
