This role provides financial management, planning and forecasting and analysis support for the MU Japan Finance with particular focus on the RES Japan Client Group (CG). Operates as the primary Finance point of contact for the CGFL, CG leadership and client teams. Acts as a business partner by contributing financial insights, solutions and controls. Collaborates with the Market Unit/Market Finance, CG Leadership team, Sales operations and Client Financial Management teams to optimize profitability and to manage risk across the client portfolio.Responsibilities include: Developing, maintaining forecast and reporting tool sets, and supporting the annual planning and monthly/quarterly forecasting processes; general financial analysis/ presentation and pricing support. As Finance Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) for RES Japan CG, you will work closely, and on a day to day basis, with the CG Leads, Sales Leads, Client Accounts Leads, various Finance teams (CFM, CDTS, Controllership etc.) and all parties within the Client Group to support decision making and drive the Client Group forward as necessary on an opportunity and strategic basis.Key responsibilities include:Supporting RES Japan Client Group Finance Lead (CGFL)Developing and maintaining forecasting and reporting toolsets.Assisting with monthly and quarterly forecasting and planning deliverables.Playing an active role as finance representative in the Japan region on operations, account meetings and New Business meetings (NBMs).Being a point of contact for the RES Japan CG and client executives regarding finance related questions, issues, policies, and procedures.Collaborating with the Market Unit, Finance lead and Client Financial Management (CFM) teams to optimize profitability and managing risk.Reviewing and analyzing monthly financial results and understanding variances to the forecast.Providing ad-hoc pricing support as requested or if outside CDTS scope.Being the SPOC from finance support perspective and if a matter is outside the scope of the CFM help desk.Ensure, working with Client Financial Management (CFM), that appropriate Finance service is delivered to client engagements and that the overall engagement-level financial reporting has integrity.Ensure US GAAP compliance.Ensure Internal Controls compliance to Accenture’s policies.Provide accounting policy guidance to CFM where necessary.
