Purpose of the position\ To provide direct leadership and oversight of all Coolbaugh Laboratory related projects and improvement initiatives including, but not limited to updating and automating processes, New Method Validation, Measurement Systems Analysis and maintenance of current external validations such as ISO9001 & ISO17025. In cooperation with the Operations Manager, facilitate changes within the group to improve quality for our customers.\ Principal Responsibilities\ Ensure safe working environment for all staff engaged in the sampling, test and approval of Coolbaugh related products.\ Technical oversight of analytical equipment & processes to ensure compliance to all specified and agreed parameters, includes developing specifications, sourcing and procurement of technical solutions\ Develop & implement strategic improvement initiatives with regards to changing technology, instrument capability and customer need\ Maintain compliance to all Linde SHEQ policies and procedures\ Monitor & report on established KPI\'s and metrics to determine the efficiency and timeliness of all technical functions\ Supports the ISO certificate(s) and manages corrective/preventive actions.\ Applies CCM for any disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner and maintains open communication with the Operations Manager and the HR department.\ Key Interfaces\ Coolbaugh Operations Manager\ Coolbaugh plant management & supervisory teams, including scheduling functions\ External auditors for Quality and Safety\ Equipment suppliers, technical reps and industry peers (e.g. PITTCON, Trade Shows, sourcing)\ Technical counter parts at customers\ Finance\ Customer service team\ Distributors & stocking locations for ESP\ E&SP and RNA SHEQ teams\ Project Execution Teams and Project Managers\ Qualifications\ Bachelor\'s degree in Science/ Technical\ Preferably with Master\'s Degree\ Minimum 5 Years experience in Electronics & Specialty Gas Operations or Laboratory environment\ Be able to build and improve process\ Knowledge of Messer safety and quality strategies\ Strong presentation skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel etc)\ Strong organizational skills\ Ability to create alignment\ Join us and you will be part of a company that values and supports your career.
