DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be involved in organizing, creating, guiding, and executing environmental education programs, information resources, and public relations for Tobyhanna State Park Complex, encompassing Tobyhanna, Gouldsboro, and Big Pocono State Parks.

Furthermore, responsibilities include creating and executing environmental, interpretive, and special events programs, along with supporting statewide environmental projects. These programs encompass a variety of topics such as environmental studies, natural and cultural history, and are conducted at the parks and other external venues.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

This is a seasonal, full-time position without benefits. The work schedule for this position will be 37.5 hours per week, with varying hours and shifts throughout the week. It is essential to be flexible and available to work on weekends, holidays, and any shift as directed by Park Management. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree in environmental education, education, the natural sciences, social sciences, or parks and recreation; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree. Conditions of Employment: Willingness to work weekends and evenings. Willingness to wear prescribed uniform.
