Description of Responsibilities

• Perform Month End Close, Reconciliation, Flash and Budget process for Public Cloud

• Facilitate monthly forecast meeting and forecasts monthly cloud spend based on consumption (signal flash to Finance)

• Consumption, invoice validation and PO management

• Familiarity of Public Cloud services available from AWS, MS Azure and Google/GCP

• Financial acumen to manage and execute Public Cloud discounting strategy

• Subject matter expert in Public Cloud Financials (especially discounting concepts like Reserved Instances and Savings Plans)

• Owns reporting for Public Cloud consumption, helping application teams and organizations to understand run rate spend

Education and Experience Required:

• 4-year Finance or Accounting degree and 8+ years' applicable experience

• Public Cloud Services knowledge of AWS, MS Azure and Google/GCP

• Professional certifications a plus (Public Cloud, Finance, Program Management etc.)

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis, with advanced knowledge in one area

• Understanding of all Financial lifecycle concepts from POs, invoicing, forecast, flash and reconciliation

• Familiarity on AWS, MS Azure and GCP Public Cloud services (plus)

• Understanding of optimization techniques to drive cost savings for applications running in the Public Cloud

• Good project/time management skills

• Proficient with MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, use of large/complex Excel files will be required

• Appropriate written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent analytical skills
