What you’ll do:

We have an exciting, new opportunity for an Engineering Document Administrator to join our highly successful team.

The Engineering Document Controller is part of a team who are the focal point for all matters relating to the licensing of data to other Eaton sites, supporting the TCO’s in updating Enovia export data receipt, storage, and transfer of documents in the Enovia PLM system and customer portals.

This role provides a consistent and proactive service across the business by assisting project teams and operations with the delivery of key data onto the company wide systems within given timescales

Responsibilities:

  • To work in accordance with the applicable project procedures and Configuration Management Plans (CMP)

  • Liaise effectively with internal and external customers to ensure compliance with their requirements for effective data transmittal and dispatch of drawings and specifications to the customer

  • Operate and accurately maintain data on configuration databases

  • To carry out clerical and administrative duties relating to the storage, release and modification of drawings, Specifications, and procedures

  • Required to work as part of a Team supporting the ongoing design projects

  • Capable of working on own initiative after suitable period of training

  • Support retrieval of documents from Archives

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable but is not required. We're open to candidates with transferrable experience

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

  • Computer literate with Word, Excel and outlook
