NEW PIG CORPORATION Accounting Service Specialist in TIPTON, Pennsylvania

New Pig is searching for an Accounting Service Specialist! We're seeking a reliable and precise professional to join our team. We are seeking a candidate who can, work with our accounting and service department, respond to internal and external customer inquiries, work at a fast pace with rapidly changing technology, and much more. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Credit Manager.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accounts receivable customer communications (collections and customer inquiries)
  • Accounts receivable payment application and discrepancy resolutions
  • Provide superior customer service internally and externally
  • Navigating through different systems throughout the day
  • Assist in special projects and other various accounting operations duties on an as-needed basis
  • Provides full backup administration for other accounting personnel in a specific functional area (e.g. AR, AP) when needed
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Adhere to New Pig's Safety, Environmental, and Quality Standards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in accounting, finance or related major or equivalent in experience.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Personable, eager, quick learner, and adaptable
  • Detail oriented and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively, both orally and written, with department leaders and peers.
  • Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Windows, Office, Word, and Excel.
