Corteva Agriscience Sales Support Coordinator in Tipton, Indiana

Description

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a Sales Support Coordinator to join the team in Tipton, Indiana. In this role you will serve as the liaison for all supply chain, logistic activities, and administrative support related services to retailers and field sales personnel within an assigned area. Navigate and diagnose retail and field sales personnel needs and respond using a wide and dynamic base of information and resources. Serve as a subject matter expert in sales programs, sales processes, customer information, account maintenance, logistics, and all supply chain related services in support of the success of the retailer's business and achieve commercial-unit goals and objectives.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform all tasks safely and in accordance with our brand values expectations, demonstrate a teamwork attitude, and the ability to be a positive sales support representative portraying the company's image.

  • Responsible for making business decisions regarding inventory movements, repackaging requests and other logistics related situations that have a direct financial impact on the company.

  • Provide high-level customer service on product supply support utilizing a “coaching culture” to an assigned area at Retail Location level on deadlines, supply information, product reductions and pull-backs

  • Serve as the single point of contact for all assigned Retail Locations.

  • Proactively communicate with the field sales team on all topics and successfully integrate changes with field sales teams.

  • Coach Retail Locations on all tasks to drive the desired behavior using a business mindset.

  • Perform all tasks related to year-end settlements, aligning all proper documentation for this process.

  • Evaluate each Retail Locations' needs through effective questioning and problem resolution skills to effectively and efficiently resolve issues presented.

  • Actively support teammates to ensure a high level of performance across the entire Sales Area and Commercial Unit team when requested.

  • Performs tasks necessary to complete all designated sales support activities and maintains detailed knowledge of all sales programs to ensure timely and efficient customer service.

  • Actively work and support internal teammates to ensure a high level of performance across the entire Supply Chain Team while sharing ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, preferred, Associates degree in business or related field with relevant experience can be substituted.

What Skills You Need:

  • Two to three (2-3) year's experience in agriculture, Supply Chain and Logistics, and/or customer service that includes high-level leadership skills

  • Ability to learn specific product knowledge as it relates to the support of the Sales and customers

  • Strong communication skills (including telephone, e-mail, and presentations skills) and ability to communicate accurate information

  • Strong computational skills including PC experience with multiple software applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people with the ability to analyze and solve problems in an empowered, self-directed/managed work environment.

  • Outstanding customer service skills

  • Demonstrated ability to recognize process improvement opportunities and effectively communicate, implement change
