Description
As a Solutions Architect II, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing comprehensive IT solutions that meet our clients' needs and align with their business objectives. You will collaborate closely with clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, architect scalable and efficient solutions, and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the technical authority and subject matter expert, providing guidance to clients and internal teams on best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends
Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and platforms to meet project requirements, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and integration of solutions
Design end-to-end solutions encompassing infrastructure, networking, cloud services, cybersecurity, data management, and application integration
Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, IT requirements, and challenges, translating them into well-designed and scalable solutions
Understand client business objectives, pain points, and IT infrastructure challenges to propose innovative solutions that address their specific needs
Collaborate closely with the strategic services team to support business development efforts, including participating in client meetings, proposal development, and solution scoping
Pursue relevant certifications and training opportunities to enhance technical knowledge and skills
Escalation resource for the Solution Architects (Tier 1)
Provides training and guidance to junior team members
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience as a Solutions Architect II or in a similar role within a Managed IT Service Provider
Strong technical background as a Tier III Support Engineer (or equivalent) with expertise in enterprise infrastructure, cloud computing, networking, security, and applications
Proficiency in designing and implementing solutions utilizing technologies such as AWS, Azure, VMware, Cisco, and Microsoft
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex requirements and translate them into practical solutions
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong leadership abilities, with the capability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams. (Previous leadership experience is a plus)
Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver high-quality results within specified timelines
Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering innovative solutions that drive client success
Certifications in Azure, Meraki, Microsoft, and other vendors will be required as assigned by management
