Job Duties:

The Marketing Rep will manage and support the various Marketing Communications activities for China and Asia Pacific Regions to FG Wilson products and services. This position will facilitate communication and collaboration with several internal and external partners to ensure all the planned activities are managed within the pre-determined budget and timelines in a qualitative manner.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Publishing of content on WeChat on a periodic basis.

  • Working with local agencies for development of new creative content, customisation of marketing content and translations from English to Chinese.

  • Managing the activities related to our participation in tradeshows, events and seminars.

  • Publishing FG Wilson related customer stories.

  • Supporting media (print, digital & social) related promotion activities including development of new landing pages and managing campaigns.

  • Collaboration and communication with China and Asia Pacific dealers on their marketing activities.

  • Working with external vendors and agencies including on-boarding into Cat systems, assistance on contracts sign-off, purchase orders, invoices and payments.

  • Support dealer enquiries via Salesforce for onboarding

  • Collaboration with China Brand, Digital, Legal & Compliance teams.

  • Successful execution of FG Wilson marketing plans across China and Asia Pacific Regions

  • Determine aftermarket parts potential opportunity within region through validation of existing genset population analysis

Basic Requirements:

  • Degree in business, marketing, engineering or equivalent.

  • Good teamwork and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate across a matrix organization.

Top Candidates will also have:

  • Familiarity with Electric Power products and systems.

  • Understanding of Cat brand guidelines and Enterprise compliance requirements.

  • Experience in a dealer and/or customer facing support role.

Additional Information

  • This role is located in Asia Power Systems, China.

  • Travel requirement is 15-20% locally.

Promotion and Marketing Communications: Knowledge of different promotional and marketing communication techniques; ability to use different marketing channels and tools in combination to focus on how a business communicates a message to the market.

Level Basic Understanding:

• Cites examples of the process which allows the public to know about a brand and get a clear idea about their offerings.

• Explains the relevance of marketing mix in marketing communications and describes the 4P's of the marketing mix.

• Keeps abreast of the latest techniques and methodologies in marketing communication.

• Lists different promotional and marketing communication techniques.
