The Opportunity

Under general direction, serves as a Representative dealing with internal and external customers including factories and vendors on day-to-day business matters. May be responsibilities include reviewing and processing requests for quotations, diagnosing customer’s needs, selecting products including product conversions, interpreting engineering specifications, sizing valves and instruments, troubleshooting, determining materials needed on projects, obtaining bids from vendors and/or contractors, writing and submitting final quotations in accordance with established guidelines, processing purchase orders, stocking for orders, coordinating assembly and/or repair of products with production, ensuring timely execution of order, and ensuring payment is collected for products and services rendered.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Communicates with internal and external customers through verbal and written methods to address product selection including representation of our product lines, request for quotes, engineering specifications, status of orders, technical questions, scheduling, invoicing, and collections. Performs various responsibilities relating to BU Quote System including monitoring follow-up, verifying system integrity, and updating staff on system modifications. Serve to coordinate research, distribution of information, and updating of staff on system modifications on IIR Database related matters. Special research projects and report writing relating to SYSPRo information and BU results. Manages the customer pool programs including the selection, scheduling, tracking and reporting of customer on-site inventory. Researches problems and solutions including but not limited to customer’s needs, factory issues, production and scheduling needs, and Terms and Conditions issues.
