Manufacturing Production Team Member

Position Summary

NVR's Thurmont Manufacturing Plant is hiring for motivated and reliable candidates to be a part of our manufacturing team. We are looking for candidates who have strong attendance, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. You will be responsible for direct labor tasks related to the assembly of products for NVR's Homebuilding operations. You will be expected to perform your role with a high focus on quality, safety, and productivity.

Day shift work hours are 5:00am - 1:30pm (M-F) and Nightshift work hours are 4:00pm - 2:30am (M-TH)

*Pay rate for this position is $23.50/hr, based on position responsibilities.$2.00 Shift differential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing,warehousingand/or construction environment strongly preferred
• Consideration will be given to candidates with related experience in technical training or certification programs
• Higher starting wages are possible for those with framing, millwork, trim, and other related construction experience and skills
• Experience working as part of a team to achieve productivity goals
• Proven reliability as demonstrated by an excellent attendance record
• Ability to work inside or outside (as required) in a strong safety-focused environment
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, to include the ability tolift, bend, stoop and stand for long periods of time
• Experience with hand tools, nail and staple guns, and ability to read a tape measure are preferred, on the job training provided
