Robert Half is partnering with a large electrical construction company in search of a Marketing Proposal Specialist to join their business development team. The ideal candidate has experience with writing and producing proposals for new business in the A/E/C industry, and is adept at contributing both the written word as well as layout design skills within Adobe InDesign. There will be opportunities to contribute to work outside of the business development proposal space in other areas of marketing and asset management - if you're looking for a role in business development that has great work-life balance and support then look no further.

Location: Thornton, CO

Work Style: Hybrid, 3x/week on-site (no exceptions)

Salary: $65k - $90k

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the development of proposals (RFPs) and statements of qualifications (SOQs), working with marketing, business development, and operations personnel

• Write, proof, and edit proposal content, such as cover letters, company overviews, technical staff resumes, project descriptions, graphics, organizational charts, etc.

• Lead team KOCs, create proposal outlines, compile components, capture technical information from subject matter experts, ensure deadlines are met, etc.

• Support proposal submittals and handle printing and production, when required

• Develop presentations, brochures, and other marketing materials

• Support archiving/storing information to maintain the accuracy of internal databases

• Perform other marketing and business development tasks as needed

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree

• 3+ years of experience in proposal writing and development for an A/E/C company

• Experience with Adobe InDesign
