The Wes Brown Water Treatment Plant, which was upgraded in 2005, has a submerged membrane filtering process which in turn provides a high quality of drinking water due to the .04 micron pore size of the membrane. This plant can produce up to 50 MGD. Our second plant, which was recently built in 2020, is a bio-filtration with Ozone treatment and this plant can produce up to 20 MGD. Along with the treatment plants, the Instrumentation and SCADA staff will work at 60 plus remote sites all over the City.
