Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist within the service industry, based in THORNTON, Colorado, 80241-3535, United States. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the full-cycle accounts payable duties, reconciling invoices, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable duties including matching and securing proper approvals for non-PO invoices.

• Reconcile invoices to purchase orders through an automated AP workflow system.

• Ensure timely payments to vendors and resolve any issues through collaborative processes with internal and external stakeholders.

• Promptly and accurately respond to internal and external inquiries.

• Process employee expense reports and reconcile vendor statements.

• Assess and apply Sales and Use Tax rates when applicable.

• Research and resolve vendor and operation’s inquiries and disputes.

• Assist with internal and external audits and maintain up-to-date process documentation.

• Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards.

• Regular and predictable attendance is expected for this role. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is essential

• Experience with Accounting Software Systems is required

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is beneficial

• Must have a strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with 3 Way Matching process is preferred
