Duties

Could you be our next National Restaurant Accountant?

In this role you will focus primarily on managing the marketing fund and partnering with our amazing marketing team. Through this you get to understand how Marketing works at McDonalds and get some awesome exposure to great campaigns and people. Outside of this, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of other challenging finance projects in both our owned and franchised restaurants.

What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?

• Partnering with Marketing, National Operations and Finance to generate insights and analysis that supports sound commercial outcomes for the business

• Managing strong governance of the marketing fund and provide key projection reporting to support the marketing plan

• Managing the marketing fund external audit process and achieve a strong audit result

• Managing the marketing fund budget process

• Providing analysis, insights and support for key business meetings, both internal and external

• Supporting continuous improvement in processes and governance

• Partnering with our owned restaurants to provide ongoing month end reporting

• Managing the Budget process for our owned restaurants

Qualifications

Your keys to success:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting

• Working towards CA/CPA studies (preferred but not essential)

• Willingness to learn and make change to process where you see opportunity

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
