The Sales Representative is responsible for meeting the goals of the sales team as well as the strategic objectives of the organization.
Educational Requirements:
- Associate degree preferred but not necessary.

Functional Requirements:
- Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing customers.
- High energy and drive in all areas of the position.
- Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
- Develops and implements strategies for sales in an assigned area or industry, that align with strategic goals of the organization.
- Applies knowledge of the new and used pallet products and product features to match the needs of customer.
- Answers inquiries from customers concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.
- Provides information, quotes, credit terms, and other bid specifications to customers.
- Works with the Director of Sales to negotiate prices, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepares contracts and submits orders.
- Collaborates with various departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly.
- Periodically prepares and reports results, status of accounts, and leads to manager.
- Ability to travel to assigned territories at a frequency, required by the company, and as needed to meet the needs of the business.
- Attending appropriate local and regional functions as needed to improve connects, engage with potential customers as well as get the company name more exposure.
- Ability to manage time between purchasing used pallets, paying customers for pallet purchases, and managing the used pallet yard.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Other Responsibilities:
- Responsible for seeking additional courses and training opportunities either on their own or as requested by the organization.
- Maintain organized records and reports
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working in front of a computer.
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
- Must be able to bend, lift, and twist safely and as needed
- Maintain a valid driver's license
