We're hiring a Headwear Seamstress/Seamster to create unique and custom uniform headwear for military units and marching bands. salary: $14 - $15 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Sew unique and custom uniform headwear for a diverse range of customers, including military units and marching bands, adhering to specific design requirements.

• Operate various traditional and proprietary sewing equipment to ensure accurate and efficient production of headwear.

• Maintain a clean, friendly, and climate-controlled workspace to uphold quality standards and provide a comfortable working environment.

• Pay meticulous attention to detail throughout the sewing process to ensure the accuracy and quality of the finished headwear products.

• Manage time efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery to domestic and international customers.

• Lift a maximum of 25 pounds up to 10-15 times per day on average, adhering to workplace safety guidelines and protocols.

• Sit for approximately 90% of the workday to carry out sewing tasks effectively and comfortably.

• Comply with company policies and regulations, including maintaining a drug-free workplace and undergoing a background check. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• manual lifting up to 25lbs

• working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
