To learn more, visit our . __ Position Overview:The Digital Marketing Intern - Segment Marketing will learn about Digital Marketing in the Automation and Control segment and support the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to grow customer count and support business goals and objectives. They will take direction from the Digital Marketing Manager - Automation and Control and are supported by the Marketing Technology Manager - Automation and Control from a product/technology standpoint. Responsibilities: Provide input and support Automation and Control strategy; developing marketing plan to help achieve business goals and objectives Assist in the ideation and development of marketing campaigns ensuring deliverables are executed, including but not limited to: campaign strategy briefs, statements of work, business requirements, functional specifications, project plans, campaign kickoff and status reports, etc. Evaluate marketing campaigns return on investment and develop new techniques to optimize web traffic to enable customer count growth and customer retention Work with a project-based, cross-functional team of writers, designers, developers, analysts, and testers while fostering an environment of team spirit Assist with the creation, implementation and maintenance of the Automation and Control content calendar and ongoing microsite updates and analysis for continuous improvement As the Digital Marketing Intern, you can expect to: Learn how to create, optimize, and evolve marketing strategies and campaigns to gain|retain customers Gain a better understanding of pre- and post-campaign discussions to share/implement the ideas into appropriate internal processes/final deliverables on subsequent projects Collaborate with Supplier Business Partners to develop presentation materials for QBRs, presentations, etc; participating in those meetings as necessary Learn how to clearly and effectively educate key business stakeholders on DigiKey's Learn how to provide detailed analysis and reporting to e-suite and management teams Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience Must be pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing or similar area of study Must be able to communicate clearly at a professional level Must have excellent planning and organization skills Must demonstrate the following behavioral competencies: attention to detail, communication, customer/client focus, ethical conduct, initiative, manages execution, personal effectiveness/credibility, positive attitude, problem solving, professionalism, project management, thoroughness & time management Physical Requirements: Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body DigiKey Electronics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
