Your Role

The purpose of the role is to execute the daily operations and support towards the Gateway functions within Kuehne + Nagel Network. Timely and efficient performance within the established quality standards is required along with actively practicing critical thinking & on-the-job decision making while executing their in-scope activities. It is required to deliver operational excellence while continuously improving operational capabilities.

Your Responsibilities

• High-quality shipment and process management within agreed SLAs and as per quality requirements

• Transport planning:

o Warehouse inventory check

o Delivery pre-alerts to customer

o Arrange deliveries/handovers with hauliers / escort service companies: loading and arrival time arrangements, meeting points and work around fixing possible discrepancies

o Manifest, unloading list & T1 creation

o Follow-up with hauliers for truck arrival in destination and customer & Kuehne+Nagel stakeholder update

• Drive continuous improvement / optimization of in-scope activities

Your Skills and Experiences

  • 1-year experience in KNGS

  • Excellent knowledge of the English language

  • Analytical & Critical Thinking

  • Teamwork

  • Time management skills

  • Identify and execute own initiatives

  • Flexibility

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Acceptance of shift work with weekends
