Ensuring Charts Success

The Product Engineer serves as the technical manager for their respective product lines. This position is the primary sponsor for product life cycle management efforts and will work with the Design Engineers to ensure these efforts are successful. The selected individual will support engineering initiatives for product lines to meet the financial, quality, training and sales goals set by the Product Manager. The Product Engineer serves as the technical point of contact for customers as well as the sales, engineering, marketing, and commercial teams. This position will reside in Theodore, AL.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be

• Support sales and marketing efforts as an engineering resource to maximize sales/market share of products
• Define Customer and Tech Service training requirements
• Problem-solving and support with hydrogen transport product line
• Lead value engineering efforts through design engineering and CI teams
• Aid in customer training
• Support NPD efforts with engineering team
• Manage warranty claims by providing engineering guidance
• Lead product related CAPA efforts as appropriate
• Assist Product Manager with RFQs and new sales by providing technical assistance
• Component and part selection and validation
• Development and execution of test plans
• Research and investigation of code requirements
