We are seeking a House Supervisor to join our Clinical Administration Department. This position is casual with no guarantee of hours per week and is eligible for a 13% pay differential in addition to the base salary in lieu of benefits. Mid Columbia Medical Center is located in The Dalles, Oregon. We work, live, and play in the scenic Columbia River Gorge, Oregon. Responsible for the facilitation of a safe environment and a safe level of nursing care through coordination of interdepartmental services, patient placement, clinical support and information flow. In the absence of administrative management or director level staff, the Nurse Supervisor coordinates contact with outside agencies, public relation activities, policy interpretation, disaster coordination and general problem solving.
ASN from accredited school of nursing.
BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or TEAM required.
ECS 701; 703; 704; 800
Current applicable state RN licensure.
Minimum three years staff nurse experience required.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Experience with using every day technology tools (e.g, email, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, voicemail and internet/intranet) to access, organize and store job-related information.
Knowledge of clinical and nursing unit function and access to resources both administrative and organizational.
Able to perform nursing techniques and procedures included in the nursing skills list and all documented nursing competencies as defined in the designed RN job descriptions.
Must be self-directed with strong communication skills, and a willingness to lead by example.

Ability to cope with physical and emotional demands of a dynamic environment.
