We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services department. This position is Part Time Core, scheduled 32 hours per week and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. Location:
Mid Columbia Medical Center is located in The Dalles, Oregon. We work, live, and play in the scenic Columbia River Gorge, Oregon. Located 85 miles east of Portland in the majestic Columbia River Gorge, The Dalles features old-growth forests, rushing waterfalls, and year-round access to outdoor recreation, including downhill and cross-country skiing, world-class water sports, and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. The area boasts award-winning wineries, and, most importantly, warm, friendly people.
Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and common areas. In collaboration with others, carry out housekeeping support in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and local standards, guidance and regulations by the Director of Environmental Services.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Licensure/Certification:
- Valid Driver’s license preferred
Experience:
One year experience working in environmental services or related area strongly preferred.
Experience with using every day technology tools (e.g. email, voicemail, internet / intranet) to access information
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Must be able to relate to others with courtesy and tact under normal as well as stressful conditions
