• In your first rotation, you will work within the Ground & Maritime Defense Radar Software Department in Tewksbury, MA supporting the development of software on our Ground and Maritime Radar Products. We strive for technical excellence by drawing upon a diverse workforce whose knowledge base covers the complete spectrum of modern languages and computing platforms.

What You Will Do

• Stretch your capabilities and enhance learning with frontline, hands-on assignments.

• Relocate to different RTX cities/states while in program to broaden your exposure to the business and further develop your leadership and functional skills and business acumen.

• In your first rotation you will:

• Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools, to include development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems.

• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.

• Participate in internal review of software components and systems.

• Collaborate with project managers and other professionals within Engineering.

• Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or a related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree. D egree must be obtained between December 2024 - May 30, 2025.

• Requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

• Experience with C++, C, Java or similar higher level programming language.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Cumulative 3.2 GPA

• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms, systems software design, operating systems, architectures, software development life cycle and processes.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including ability to produce technical documentation, and the desire to learn new technologies and tools.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience developing software in a team-based development environment, preferably Agile/SCRUM, DevOps and test automation.
