Essential Job Duties: • Provides written patient information and preps for patient testing. • Coordintates clearance and testing with pretesting at Union and WVSC. • Calls multiple physician offices for clearance or to schedule appointments for clearance. • Schedules all procedures for Ortho physicians at Union or WVSC. • Use a worksheet based on patient's diagnosis and previous testing to determine what testing is needed. • Meets with patients in person after their appointment, or by setting up a time with them within 30 days of surgery. • Work with precert dept. to make sure surgery was approved by insurance. (work with work comp if it is a work comp case). • Complete orders and necessary paperwork needed for the physician to proceed with surgery.
Qualifications:
1 year experience LPN/CMA/CCMA
Previous scheduling experience preferred
