Automation Engineer- Terre Haute, IN

Job Description

This company is the leading retail and industrial supplier of baking powder in the United States. Their Terre Haute, IN manufacturing facility is seeking an Automation Specialist to provide technical support to the engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing departments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide focused support on continuous improvement projects and rapid response to safety related activities

• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems and machinery throughout the facility

• Design, modify, and upgrade electrical control systems

• Assist in the development of electrical skills in the maintenance department

• Support engineering, maintenance, and capital projects as directed

Required Qualifications

• An engineering related Associates Degree or 5+ years of relevant work experience

• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting PLCs (MicroLogix or SLC500) or Siemens PLCs

• Familiarity with Keyence or Cognex vision systems (barcode readers)
