What will you be doing?

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager based in the United States to join our dynamic Global Technology & Security team on a full-time 6-month contract with the potential for extension.

The Senior Program Manager position within Global Technology & Security (GTS) is a role that will be responsible for leading and executing transformational technology and security projects and programs. The ideal candidate will be a self- starter, independent but also a team player. This role will focus on strategic program management, ensuring successful delivery of security initiatives, and fostering collaboration across various teams within the organization and offers a flexible mix of remote and in-office work.

About the Team:

The role joins a global team of highly skilled program managers. The Global Technology & Security (GTS) Operations Management Team is responsible for program and project management, security compliance, budgeting and reporting.

What You’ll Do In This Role:

Program Management:

  • Lead the planning and execution of information security programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Maintain a comprehensive security program roadmap, including resource planning, timelines, and dependencies.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define program scope, objectives, and success criteria.

  • Serve as a participating member of GTS Program Management Council, providing input into Program standards and practices.

Project Management:

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of information security projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.

  • Work closely with project teams to identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues that may impact project delivery.

  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely and accurate project reporting to leadership.

  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to understand when and to whom to escalate.

Communication and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with product, legal, compliance, and other departments to integrate security considerations into various projects and initiatives.

  • Serve as a liaison between technical and business teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of security requirements.

  • Be a trusted advisor to internal and external business partners/stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with Program Management peers, security, and business leadership to align programs, projects, and operations with business objectives and strategies.

Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes for security projects, ensuring that deliverables meet established security program standards and requirements.

  • Conduct regular project reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

  • Identify and align technical, business or process risks and mitigation strategies with options and trade-offs.

What You'll Need To be Successful In This Role:

  • Possess over 4 years of experience working as a project or program manager in information technology and/or information security.

  • Strong knowledge of program and project management methodologies and best practices (e.g. Prince 2 or PMBOK)

  • Preferably project management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Prince2 or CPMP, and Information security certifications such as CISSP or CISM.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and security/compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
