Job Description Summary

We are hiring a Senior IT Risk Governance Analyst who will be responsible for partnering with the Business Units, assess the Application and Data risk and control profiles. You will advise, monitor and challenge core compliance program components ensuring Application compliance with regulatory risks and manage risk in a transparent manner and monitor the adequacy of controls

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct interviews with line of business representatives to understand risks and controls associated with applications, products and services, business strategy, and system initiatives

  • Define parameters and risk attributes for data collection

  • Conduct analysis with collected data and other information to quantify inherent risks and risk exposures.

  • Produce comprehensive final written product capturing the risk analysis, control assessment, and direction of risk as well as an executive-level reporting for the Application teams

  • Support the Annual Application audits including reviewing and advising on related findings

  • Manage the MRAMs for the application teams

  • Take ownership of Application Service Account passwords and ensure that they are modified according to the Bank standards

  • Assist with Penetration testing requests

  • Monitor Cybersecurity and support

  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 7 years of overall experience in compliance, risk, internal audit, or regulatory experience

  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory areas that apply to banking and familiar with FFIEC and NIST frameworks

  • Possess excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, communication skills

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with others at all levels across the organization

  • Ability to learn quickly, manage projects and drive/achieve results

  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities

  • Strong time management, project management and independent operator

  • Good interpersonal skills for coordination/liaison functions

  • Strong writing skills for composition of reports

  • Strong Excel skills is required. Data analytics (SQL, R) and experience with visual analytics tools is a plus.
